FAQ’s
-
Absolutely! I've supported individuals at all stages of their journey. I understand that pursuing a formal diagnosis can take time or money, and some people may be unsure if they even want a diagnosis or medication. Whatever stage you're at, we can discuss it together and explore what feels right for you.
-
Yes I found out I had ADHD at age 35 a few years ago and I’ve also gone through trauma and somatic counselling both in training and with my own counsellor.
-
I view my Trauma training as a nice to have. I’m not here to dig up Trauma or make that our main focus but it’s there if we need it.
I wouldn’t want to be working with someone and we uncover something or someone brings something up that I’m not equipped to support with. That’s why I’m also a trained Trauma and Somatic Counsellor. I want to support you fully and safely.
I’m trained in nervous system regulation, EMDR (Bilateral processing), parts work and more because processing isn’t a one size fits all approach.
-
Somatic work focuses on the connection between the mind and body. It helps you process and release experiences stored in the body that might still be impacting your emotions, behaviors, or sense of self.
In our sessions, this might involve gentle techniques like breathing exercises, stretching or gentle movement to increase body awareness, regulate the nervous system, and create a deeper sense of safety and connection.
But as always it’s consensual and at a pace that works for you.
-
Yes I do and there’s absolutely no judgment here. However, I always encourage people to consider how much lived experience matters to them when choosing support.
For example, I support transgender individuals, but I haven’t personally been through that experience. While I’m more than happy to provide a safe space for you to process and talk about your journey, I may not fully understand it from a personal perspective.
Some people are completely comfortable with that, while others prefer working with someone who has had a similar lived experience. Both choices are valid, and it’s about finding what feels right for you.

What sets me apart?
I am qualified through a credible Coaching Program and accredited through the EMCC (I could be ICF Accredited but I chose not to due to their lack of Neurodivergent awareness at the time).
I am always researching, attending webinars, appearing on podcasts and I’ve given talks but most importantly I still have counselling myself (a Coach or Counsellor who gives you the impression their perfect or fixed is a red flag). I undergo Supervision (This is a third party who makes sure you are holding an ethical space and not bringing in things like countertransference etc) and I have a considerable numbers of Client hours and years under my belt with Neurodivergent clients.
Let’s work together.

Our session will be
-
Personalized
Every person’s journey is different. Together, we’ll design a unique approach that aligns with your needs rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether it’s exploring past patterns, building practical strategies, or simply finding a calm in the chaos.
-
Supportive
This is a space where you can show up fully as yourself. Whether it’s tears, laughter or anything in between, you’re welcome here. I’ll support you feeling understood, safe, and supported as you navigate your journey.
You never have to do it alone!
-
Holistic
True change happens when we consider the whole picture (your thoughts, emotions, behaviors and any past experiences that shaped them).
Together, we’ll balance practical tools with deeper work, addressing what’s happening on the surface and underneath.
