Work with zoe
Many ADHD adults have spent years trying to push themselves harder, be more organised or find the right productivity system.
Trying to finally get on top of things.
But often the deeper struggle isn’t motivation or needing to try harder.
It’s the quiet belief many of us carry that something about us is wrong.
That we’re broken in some way.
That we’re somehow failing at being an adult.
Over time that belief can shape how we see ourselves and how we move through the world.
My work focuses on slowing things down and helping you understand yourself more deeply.
Together we look at your patterns, your emotions and your nervous system regulation, so we can begin finding ways to support yourself that actually work for you.
Not quick fixes.
Not generic advice.
But learning how to work with yourself and what you need, rather than constantly feeling like you’re fighting against who you are or outdated beliefs about how you should be.
What We Might Explore
Sessions may involve exploring:
• emotional overwhelm and intensity
• rejection sensitivity
• patterns in relationships
• burnout and exhaustion
• justice sensitivity and anger
• identity and masking
• reconnecting with your body and emotions
• understanding how past experiences shaped you
Every person’s journey is different, so the work unfolds based on what feels most important for you.
Regulation Work
Many ADHD adults live in a constant state of stress or overwhelm.
Part of our work may involve learning ways to help your nervous system settle and feel safer in your body.
This might include:
• grounding techniques
• learning how to recognise nervous system states
• building emotional tolerance
• slowing down reactions and impulses
The goal isn’t to suppress emotions.
It’s to build the capacity to stay with them without becoming overwhelmed.
How Sessions Work

FAQ’s
-
Absolutely! I've supported individuals at all stages of their journey. I understand that pursuing a formal diagnosis can take time or money, and some people may be unsure if they even want a diagnosis or medication. Whatever stage you're at, we can discuss it together and explore what feels right for you.
-
Yes I found out I had ADHD at age 35 a few years ago and I’ve also gone through trauma and somatic counselling both in training and with my own counsellor.
-
Yes I do and there’s absolutely no judgment here. However, I always encourage people to consider how much lived experience matters to them when choosing support.
For example, I support transgender individuals, but I haven’t personally been through that experience. While I’m more than happy to provide a safe space for you to process and talk about your journey, I may not fully understand it from a personal perspective.
Some people are completely comfortable with that, while others prefer working with someone who has had a similar lived experience. Both choices are valid, and it’s about finding what feels right for you.

What sets me apart?
I am qualified through a credible Coaching Program and accredited through the EMCC (I could be ICF Accredited but I chose not to due to their lack of Neurodivergent awareness at the time).
I am always researching, attending webinars, appearing on podcasts and I’ve given talks but most importantly I still have counselling myself (a Coach or Counsellor who gives you the impression their perfect or fixed is a red flag). I undergo Supervision (This is a third party who makes sure you are holding an ethical space and not bringing in things like countertransference etc) and I have a considerable numbers of Client hours and years under my belt with Neurodivergent clients.
Let’s work together.
